Telematics Safety Advisor 

Jim is a seasoned Telematics Safety Advisor with deep expertise in using data and technology to improve fleet safety and performance. He helps fleets leverage telematics to monitor driver behavior, reduce risk and implement practical safety solutions. With a strong background in transportation and logistics, he is recognized for turning complex data into clear strategies that deliver measurable results.

He also works closely with insurers and brokers to apply telematics insights in underwriting and loss control. This enables more accurate pricing, reduces loss costs and strengthens relationships between carriers, brokers and fleets.

  • Advises fleets on telematics solutions to monitor driver behavior, reduce risk and inform insurer evaluations.

Senior Risk Management Advisor 

Michael is a Senior Risk Management Advisor at SambaSafety, serving as a subject matter expert in risk management and insurance. Since joining SambaSafety in 2022, Michael has worked across our organization to support internal stakeholders and closely with clients spanning a wide range of industries. 

He holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation from The Institutes and is a licensed Property & Casualty Broker in the state of New York. With experience in both retail brokerage and reinsurance, Michael brings a well-rounded, technical perspective to risk analysis and insurance program strategy. 

  • Helps organizations align insurance programs with risk tolerance and operational goals using claims data and predictive analytics. 
  • Translates complex risk and insurance data into actionable strategies that improve safety practices and reduce exposure.
