Many people across the country and around the world are watching with heavy hearts as millions of Ukrainians are uprooted from their homes to seek refuge in neighboring countries following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

In light of this, SambaSafety has organized fundraisers to help raise money for the GlobalGiving Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund. The fund provides much-needed humanitarian aid in Ukraine and bordering countries to assist refugees. It supplies shelter, food and clean water. The fund also provides access to education and economic assistance as well as health and psychosocial support.

For some Sambans, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine has hit close to home. Senior Contract Manager Natalya Nilva says,

“As an immigrant with family in Ukraine, it’s been important for me to do anything I can to help. I’m thankful to SambaSafety for coming together and supporting the Ukrainian people. Not only have my fellow employees donated, but SambaSafety has graciously offered to match donations. I’m grateful to be a part of a strong community, and I’m proud to be a Samban.”

SambaSafety’s Efforts to Aid Ukraine

On March 24th, our Denver office gathered at Spice Trade Brewery in Greenwood Village, CO for a raffle and happy hour fundraiser. Multiple items from around the office were raffled off including standing desks and a ping pong table. After the happy hour and raffle concluded, the funds raised by our Denver team totaled $4,755.

In the upcoming weeks, our Albuquerque and Rancho Cordova locations will also come together to continue raising funds for Ukraine. At the conclusion of our three fundraisers, SambaSafety will match all donations, up to $10,000.

Join us in donating to the Ukraine Relief Crisis Fund. Every little bit helps.
