What is the SambaSafety Verified Program?
The SambaSafety Verified Program is an accreditation program for eligible SambaSafety Platform customers to help showcase their fleet's commitment to reducing driver risk. The multiple accreditation types can be leveraged for negotiating better terms and efficiencies between fleets, insurance carriers, captive insurance groups and brokers during quote and renewal stages.
Program levels include:
- SambaSafety Verified - this program level indicates that a fleet is taking steps to manage auto risk exposure by actively monitoring drivers' Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), CSA or Telematics data as a part of their fleet's safety practices.
- SambaSafety Verified + - this program level indicates that a fleet is actively taking steps to reduce auto risk exposure by meeting all the SambaSafety Verified criteria and taking the additional steps to actively assign driver training as a part of their safety program.

SambaSafety Verified Program Benefits to Insurers
This, first-of-its-kind, accreditation program allows you to quickly and easily confirm that the fleets you are currently insuring, or are considering insuring, are committed to reducing driver risk.
The SambaSafety Verified Program provides confirmation that fleets are utilizing SambaSafety either Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), CSA, or Telematics monitoring, or a combination of them, for their drivers and are engaged with the data by ensuring they are regularly logging into the SambaSafety Platform and continuously monitoring their drivers.
The Program provides two levels of accreditation for eligible SambaSafety customers, SambaSafety Verified and SambaSafety Verified +. Details on eligibility criteria can be found here. Customers can confirm their participation in the Program by presenting a Certificate of Authenticity for their appropriate program level.

SambaSafety Verified Program Levels
SambaSafety Verified
This program level indicates that a fleet is taking steps to manage auto risk exposure by actively monitoring drivers' Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), CSA, or Telematics data as a part of their fleet's safety practices. Eligible customers must be on the SambaSafety Platform for a minimum of three months and actively using MVR, CSA, and/or Telematics Monitoring. Customers will be deemed "SambaSafety Verified" by meeting eligibility requirements of logging onto the SambaSafety Platform monthly for three consecutive months and having drivers loaded into the Platform for monitoring.
SambaSafety Verified +
This program level indicates that a fleet is actively taking steps to reduce auto risk exposure by meeting all the SambaSafety Verified criteria and taking the additional step to actively assign driver training as a part of their safety program. Eligible customers must have at least one training course assigned and completed through SambaSafety University every 90 days.

Is there a cost to participate in the Program?
This is an optional program, available to eligible SambaSafety customers, at no additional cost.
Do I have to participate in the Program if I am an eligible SambaSafety customer?
No. Participation in the SambaSafety Verified Program is completely voluntary.
Does participating in the Program come with any guarantees?
Participation in the SambaSafety Verified Program does not guarantee any results (i.e., reduction in violations, etc.) or guarantee any specifics relating to the customer's driver safety program other than the eligibility criteria described above.
How do I prove to my insurer(s) I am participating in the Program?
SambaSafety customers will be able to produce a SambaSafety Verified Program Certificate of Authenticity, timestamped with the date which their organization met eligibility requirements, confirming their participation in the Program.
Are there other perks to joining the Program?
Involvement in the Program also provides special benefits, including access to the SambaSafety Verified member community, invitations to exclusive events and programs, and early access to SambaSafety's annual Driver Risk Report and annual Telematics Report.
How do I join the Program?
